Laron Gigger, professionally known as Laronbest, is a force unlike any other. A professional roller skater, dancer, model, actor, choreographer, content creator, and influencer, he has shattered expectations and redefined the culture of movement. At just 21 years old, he has conquered the skate community, become an undeniable icon in the LGBTQ+ world, and built a legacy that extends from the rink to the runway, from viral screens to television.

Originally born in Manhattan, Kansas, Laron moved to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of three and never looked back. His journey as an artist began early—at just 12 years old, he taught himself filmmaking through YouTube, creating short films, concept videos, and choreography projects. What started as childhood passion quickly evolved into mastery. By blending self-taught skills in hip-hop, majorette, ballet, jazz, contemporary, and freestyle, Laron built a foundation that would set him apart from anyone in the game.

In 2022, he laced up a pair of skates and changed the industry forever. Integrating his dynamic dance background with roller skating, he created an entirely new style—one that captivated audiences worldwide. His explosive, sensual, and technical performances quickly went viral, making him one of the most recognized and sought-after skaters of his generation.

But Laron isn’t just a social media sensation—he’s making history. In February 2025, he became the first Black queer roller skater to walk a mainstream runway at Milan Fashion Week for DSquared2, proving that skating isn’t just a sport—it’s high fashion, it’s culture, it’s art. His presence on television is just as groundbreaking, with appearances on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, the reality competition series Roller Jam on MAX, and countless music videos, including “Hell Woods 2” By Queen Key and GloRilla.

Laron’s rise to fame is more than talent—it’s fearlessness. Whether he’s gliding across a runway, dominating a TV screen, or setting social media on fire, he is a movement, a visionary, a revolution in motion. From Atlanta to Milan, from local skating rinks to the world stage, he isn’t just skating—he’s leading the future.
